Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) is an American superhero film starring Venom, a Marvel Comics character. This film is produced by Columbia Pictures with the sponsorship of Marvel. The film was distributed through Sony Pictures Releasing, the second film in Sony's Spider-Man universe and the second installment of the 2018 Venom (2018) film.
According to a screenplay co-written by Kelly Marcel and Tom Hardy, who plays Eddie Brock / Venom in the film, the film is directed by Andy Serkis. Along with Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham and Woody Harrelson also star in the film.
In short, Brock, who has become the host of an alien Symbiote creature called Venom, struggles to adapt to his new life. Meanwhile, the assassin Cletus Cassadee escapes from prison with the help of Venom's destructive creature. Now Venom has to defeat the new creature called Carnage that challenges him.
The film aims to introduce a new Spider-Man universe from the beginning. It was planned to do a second part from the time the first film was produced. Venom (2018) used Harrelson at the end of the film to include him in the role of the villain or villain Carnage in the second part.Thus, work on the second part will officially begin in January 2019 after it was approved that Marcel will write the screenplay and Hardy and Harrelson will return to their roles.
